US House votes to fully release Epstein
The U.S. House has voted 427–1 to direct the Justice Department to release all Jeffrey Epstein files.
The bipartisan bill now heads to the Senate before reaching President Donald Trump.
The issue gained attention after leaked emails mentioned Trump multiple times,
even suggesting he “knew about the girls.”
Epstein, “a convicted paedophile and sex offender,” died six years ago in jail while awaiting trial,
and the topic has resurfaced during Trump’s second term.

Though Trump previously argued that focusing on the files was a Democratic “distraction,”
he later said Republicans should vote to release them because “we have nothing to hide.”
After the leaked emails, Trump wrote online: “The Democrats are trying to bring up the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax again
” and warned that “only a very bad, or stupid, Republican would fall into that trap.”
He insisted Republicans should avoid “deflections to Epstein” and focus on reopening the country.
