Singer Tulisa Has Come Out As

Singer and former X-Factor judge Tulisa has revealed that she identifies as demisexual. Rising to fame in the late 2000s as part of N-Dubz, she later pursued a solo career with hits like Young. She also served as a judge on The X-Factor and more recently competed on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!.

While on the reality show, Tulisa spoke about her sexuality, explaining, “For me, it’s all about the connection and the emotions that I feel with someone and then wanting to express them in that way.” Demisexuality describes those who only experience sexual attraction after forming a deep emotional bond.

Although she has returned to TV, Tulisa plans to step away from showbiz. Speaking on the Happy Placepodcast, she revealed, “I’ll be out in two years from now. I’m going into property next year… but I think I’ll always come back for N-Dubz.”

Fans have praised her openness, with one writing, “Like I couldn’t adore this f***ing queen more, Tulisa saying she thinks she might be demisexual is EVERYTHING!”
