Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Sparks Backlash Over Renewed Tylenol-Autism Claims

Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is facing heavy criticism after once again suggesting a link between Tylenol and autism

โ€” despite acknowledging thereโ€™s no scientific proof. During a Cabinet meeting with President Trump, Kennedy said,

โ€œAnybody who takes the stuff during pregnancy unless they have to is irresponsible,โ€ adding, โ€œWeโ€™re doing the studies to make the proof.โ€

Medical experts immediately dismissed the claim, stating thereโ€™s โ€œno evidence of any linkโ€ between Tylenol use and autism.

Tylenolโ€™s manufacturer โ€œstrongly disagrees,โ€ while the National Autistic Society called the comments โ€œdangerous, anti-science, and deeply irresponsible.โ€

Kennedy also made several bizarre statements, including a mix-up about pregnancy anatomy and a revived,

debunked claim connecting infant circumcision to autism.

Critics, including former President Obama,

warn that such remarks from a public official risk undermining trust in evidence-based medicine.
