Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Sparks Backlash Over Renewed Tylenol-Autism Claims

Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is facing heavy criticism after once again suggesting a link between Tylenol and autism

— despite acknowledging there’s no scientific proof. During a Cabinet meeting with President Trump, Kennedy said,

“Anybody who takes the stuff during pregnancy unless they have to is irresponsible,” adding, “We’re doing the studies to make the proof.”

Medical experts immediately dismissed the claim, stating there’s “no evidence of any link” between Tylenol use and autism.

Tylenol’s manufacturer “strongly disagrees,” while the National Autistic Society called the comments “dangerous, anti-science, and deeply irresponsible.”

Kennedy also made several bizarre statements, including a mix-up about pregnancy anatomy and a revived,

debunked claim connecting infant circumcision to autism.

Critics, including former President Obama,

warn that such remarks from a public official risk undermining trust in evidence-based medicine.
