Partner of Suspect Vanishes, Raising Quest

Utah Shooting Case Leaves Questions About Key Witness

The partner of a Utah man accused in a high-profile shooting has

reportedly vanished from the condominium they once shared.

Lance Twiggs, 22, has not returned for over a week, though his car and belongings remain inside.

Neighbors noted that lights have stayed on, and mail continues to pile up outside the door.

Twiggs, a part-time plumber, came under scrutiny following the arrest of Tyler Robinson, 22, who faces charges connected to the shooting.

While rumors suggest Twiggs may have known something, authorities stress there is no evidence linking him directly to the crime.

An FBI source described Twiggs as a “cooperating human source” and possibly an essential witness.

Officials hinted he could even qualify for federal witness protection, depending on the outcome of ongoing investigations.

Neighbors described Twiggs and Robinson as private and reclusive.

Few in the community knew much about them, and many were surprised to see such heavy law enforcement presence during recent searches.

When questioned by police, Twiggs was reportedly calm and cooperative. Authorities, with FBI agents and dogs, conducted a detailed search of the condo, raising suspicions but offering no official explanation.

Prosecutors later released text messages suggesting Twiggs may have had limited awareness of Robinson’s activities. However, they emphasize that he was not actively involved and has not been charged.
