Police arrested 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, accused of firing from a rooftop 200 yards away.

He faces charges including aggravated murder, obstruction of justice, and witness tampering.

Utah County Attorney Jeff Gray confirmed prosecutors will seek the death penalty.

Analysis of Kirkโ€™s Final Moments

Videos of the incident spread online. Neuropsychologist Derek Van Schaik analyzed them,

stating Kirkโ€™s movement was โ€œan involuntary defensive reflex,โ€ not a sign of brain injury.

โ€œThere was no panic, no dread,โ€ Van Schaik said. โ€œOnly an abrupt blackout.โ€
