After a hip replacement, Diana’s son Daniel insists,
“Mom, you’re staying with us.” At first he’s kind, but his wife Claire grows cold and critical.

When Daniel must travel, Claire snaps:
“You’re old. You’re weak,” then drives Diana to Pine Creek Shelter and says, “Get out.” Humiliated and scared, Diana stays the night among strangers.
Reunion
Daniel cuts his trip short. Shocked and furious, he finds Diana at the shelter.
Back home, he confronts Claire and serves her divorce papers: “Pack your things.”Claire leaves.
Renewal
Daniel cares for his mother with clear devotion.
Diana returns home, healed and close to her son. He tells her, “She made it when she threw you away,” and they rebuild their life, stronger together.
