Living with Parkinson’s
“I wake up and get the message of what the day is gonna be like, and I try to adjust to it,” Fox told People.
“I roll around in a wheelchair a lot, and it took some getting used to.”
Years of stunt work left him with lasting injuries.
“I broke my elbow, I broke my hand… I take it easy now, I don’t walk that much anymore.”
Finding Purpose
Despite these setbacks, Fox’s optimism endures.
His foundation has raised over $2 billion for Parkinson’s research,
and his recent memoir Future Boy reflects on his life, career, and ongoing mission to help others.
An Enduring Legacy
“You don’t die from Parkinson’s.
You die with Parkinson’s,” he said.
Still, Fox remains focused on family, creativity, and advocacy — proving that even in struggle,
there’s strength, laughter, and purpose.
