Inside the life and tr a gic dea…..

Markie Post, beloved for her warmth, humor, and grace, left a lasting mark on television before her passing in 2021 at age 70.

Best known as Christine Sullivan on Night Court, where she appeared in 159 episodes, she charmed audiences with her sincerity and comedic timing.

She later brought that same energy to roles like Barbara “Bunny” Fletcher on Chicago P.D.

Born in 1950, Post grew up in a creative, science-minded family and joked that she “did quite poorly” in physics despite her father’s coaching.

Before acting, she worked behind the scenes on game shows and often said she learned more there than in college.

She never saw herself as glamorous, once saying, “I’m no sexual siren.

I see prettier girls than me in the grocery store every day.” Fans disagreed.

Even during her four-year cancer battle, she kept working and giving. Her kindness, talent, and spirit continue to shine through the roles she left behind.
