John Travolta: From Rising Star to Family Man
Born in 1954 in New Jersey, John Travolta was the youngest in his family. He knew from childhood that he wanted to act and quit high school to pursue acting,
a risky decision that ultimately paid off.
His breakthrough came with Saturday Night Fever (1977),
followed by the iconic Grease, making him a global star.
Over the years, he starred in movies like Pulp Fiction (1994), Get Shorty (1995)—
for which he won a Golden Globe—Broken Arrow (1996), and Gotti (2018).
John married actress Kelly Preston in 1991, who later revealed she wasn’t happy in her previous marriage.
The couple had three children: Jett (1992–2009), Ella Bleu (2000), and Benjamin (2010).
Tragically, Jett passed away from complications linked to autism, leaving John devastated.
Ella Bleu, following in her parents’ footsteps, became an actor.

She shared heartfelt words about her mother after Kelly’s death in 2020:
“My mom is the best person I’ve ever met… I love her a lot.”
John remains very close to his children, often sharing moments with them on social media.
