Fans Rally to Help Former Nickelodeon Star Tylor Chase Living on the Streets
Fans were heartbroken after Tylor Chase,
best known as Martin Qwerly from Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide,
was spotted living homeless in Los Angeles.
The 36-year-old former child star appeared disheveled in a viral video posted by influencer “Lethal.”
Fundraiser and Makeover
After the video spread online, a GoFundMe raised $1,207 to help Chase.
The influencer used the money to buy him clothes, shoes, and hygiene items,
documenting the experience as she washed his hair and gave him a fresh look.
“It’s such a blessing for God to use me as a vessel to help bless someone,” she said.
Mixed Reactions
While many praised her kindness, others criticized that the funds went only toward a one-day makeover instead of housing or medical help.
The fundraiser had promised “safe housing, food, and basic necessities” for Chase.
Concerns for His Well-Being
A person claiming to know Chase said, “Tylor needs medical attention, not money… He can’t manage money or his meds by himself.”
Fans expressed hope that he receives proper care and support to rebuild his life.
