Unexpected Intervention
Barron Trump was portrayed in a London court as an unlikely hero after
intervening remotely in an alleged assault.
He witnessed part of the incident during a
brief FaceTime call and acted immediately.
Emergency Call Evidence
At Snaresbrook Crown Court,
jurors heard a 999 call placed from the United States.
An urgent voice, believed to be Barron’s, reported a woman was
“getting beaten up,” gave her London address,
and stressed it was “really an emergency.”
What Barron Saw
Barron said the call lasted seconds, during which he saw the ceiling,
heard screams, and saw a man striking the woman.
He told the court that calling police was safer than calling back,
which he feared could escalate the situation.
Courtroom Impact
Police footage showed the woman identifying her friend as
“Barron Trump—Donald Trump’s son.”
She later testified that Barron saved her life.
The defense disputed the assault,
but the jury continues deliberations.
