Gunman Planned More Targets

Federal agents arrested 64-year-old Anibal Hernandez-Santana after a

drive-by shooting at ABC 10 in Sacramento.

A note found in his car listed Attorney General Pam Bondi, FBI Director Kash Patel, and

FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino as future targets. It read:

“For hiding Epstein & ignoring red flags. Do not support Patel, Bongino, & AG Pam Bondi. They’re next. — C.K. from above.”

Social Media and Motive

Variety reported Hernandez-Santana’s X account showed “a steady stream of

anti-Trump commentary,” including: “Where is a good heart attack when we need it the most??”

His lawyer argued he faces harsher treatment because of his politics.

Federal Charges

After posting bail on state charges, the FBI rearrested him on federal counts. Patel wrote:

“Targeted acts of violence are unacceptable and will be pursued to the fullest extent of the law.”
