Jonathan Taylor Thomas, famously known as JTT, stole hearts in the 1990s with his role as Randy on Home Improvement and as the voice of Simba in The Lion King. Despite his stardom, he stepped back from Hollywood in 1998, choosing a path of education and privacy over fame.

“I’d been going nonstop since I was 8… I wanted to go to school, to travel,” he explained. Thomas attended Harvard and Columbia and briefly reunited with his Home Improvement dad, Tim Allen, on Last Man Standing from 2013-2015.

Recent sightings of Thomas in 2023 brought back memories for fans who fondly recall their childhood crush. Now enjoying a quiet life, Thomas reflects that he has “no regrets” about his decision to leave the limelight, happy to have impacted so many through his early career.
