Kanye West, often in the spotlight due to his personal life and public actions, recently sparked controversy with his name change to “Ye.”
His name change has stirred discussions, with some people respecting his choice while others express confusion about his actions, West’s chief of staff, Milo Yiannopoulos, has formally requested that West be referred to by his given name, stating that “Ye” is now globally recognized, on par with world leaders. West legally adopted the name “Ye” in 2021 and no longer has a middle name.
He explained that “Ye” represents “us” and reflects both the good and bad in life, drawing from its biblical meaning.
