Relative of Florida Teen Who Died on Carni
A family cruise meant to be relaxing has turned into a painful mystery after 18-year-old Anna Kepner died onboard.
New court documents suggest the case may involve “one of the stepmother’s minor children,” adding tension to an already devastated family.
Authorities have shared little, but reports say Anna was found on November 7, 2025 in her cabin on the Carnival Horizon.
The next day, her stepmother, Shauntel Hudson, filed an emergency motion saying the FBI told her a federal case could involve one of her underage children — an “extremely sensitive and severe circumstance.”
Investigators are reviewing CCTV, key-card logs, passenger interviews, and Anna’s phone while the family waits for answers.
Anna’s father says the lack of updates has been incredibly hard.
