U.S. Strikes Iran’s Nuclear Sites, Escalating Middle East Conflict

The U.S. launched coordinated strikes on three of Iran’s nuclear facilities—Fordo, Natanz, and Isfahan—marking its direct entry into Israel’s war with Tehran.
President Donald Trump said the attacks “completely and totally obliterated” the sites,
though the Pentagon noted the full extent of damage remains under review.
Iran’s Response
Iran condemned the strikes as an act of aggression.
Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi warned, “Iran reserves every option to defend its people and its national interests,” after vowing retaliation.
Hours later, Iran fired missiles at Israel, injuring 16 people.
Regional Fallout
With over 40,000 U.S. troops stationed in the region, the Pentagon is preparing for possible counterattacks involving drones,
rockets, or cyberwarfare. Israel praised the operation, calling it a “fully coordinated” mission.
Global Alarm
European leaders warned the move “eliminated prospects for de-escalation,” while analysts fear Iran will now refuse talks.
The U.N. Security Council is set to hold an emergency meeting as tensions threaten to spiral into full-scale war.
