Emma’s Warriors
When 63 motorcycles roared outside a hospital at 7 PM,
their engines fell silent after thirty seconds — a tribute for Emma,
a little girl fighting leukemia. From her window, she smiled through tears.
Months earlier, Emma’s mother had broken down in her car after hearing the $200,000 treatment cost.
A biker, Big Mike, approached and said gently: “Nobody fights alone.”
From that moment, the Iron Hearts Motorcycle Club became Emma’s family — paying bills,
escorting her to chemo, and gifting her a tiny vest with a butterfly patch: “Emma’s Warrior.”
Behind the scenes, the bikers raised $237,000.
Their efforts inspired a drug company to fund Emma’s treatment and help other children too.
Three years later, Emma is in remission.
The club’s charity now runs Emma’s Butterfly House, a refuge for families of sick children.
As Emma says: “I see angels in leather. I see my warriors. I see my family.”
