Kimmel Suspended After Comments
Jimmy Kimmel Live! has been suspended “indefinitely” after the
host mocked Donald Trump’s response to the assassination of
conservative activist Charlie Kirk, according to Sinclair Broadcast Group.
Trump’s Response and Kimmel’s Critique
Kirk, 31, was fatally shot during a debate in Utah.
Asked how he was coping, Trump replied:
“I think very good,” before discussing a new White House ballroom.

Sinclair’s Three Demands
Sinclair said Kimmel cannot return until three conditions are met:
formal talks with ABC, a direct apology to Kirk’s family, and a “meaningful personal donation” to the family and Turning Point USA.
Uncertain Future
Kimmel has not responded. Sinclair warned: “We intend not to return Jimmy Kimmel Live! to our air until we are confident that appropriate steps have been taken.”
