The Flight That Never Landed: Inside the S

Trump Slams Judge’s Decision to Halt Deportation of Violent Criminals

Former President Donald Trump has called on the Supreme Court to intervene after a federal judge

temporarily blocked the deportation of eight illegal immigrants with violent criminal records.

Trump accused the “Radical Left” of creating chaos, writing, “This is not the America I was elected to protect.”

Judge Blocks Deportation Over Due Process Concerns

Judge Brian Murphy of the U.S. District Court in Massachusetts stopped a flight carrying the individuals to South Sudan, arguing they had not been properly informed of their rights or given a fair chance to object.

“These individuals were not given a meaningful chance to object to being sent to South Sudan, a country they may never have even visited,” he said.

Murphy’s earlier ruling required that non-citizens facing deportation be allowed to argue against being sent to third countries where they could face harm.

His new order extends those protections and mandates at least 72 hours’ notice before screenings and a 15-day window to reopen immigration cases.

Officials Push Back

The Justice Department argued all eight individuals had received full legal proceedings.

ICE officials noted that some had deportation orders dating back to 1999. Offenses included murder and rape of a minor. ICE’s acting director said several countries have refused to take them back.

Stephen Miller reacted strongly: “A city judge in Boston has now stopped the deportation of violent illegal alien murderers and child predators.”

Political Clash Over Immigration Powers

Trump condemned the judge’s actions, saying, “He has allowed them to remain in Djibouti rather than letting the deportation proceed as planned.”

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt added, “Judge Murphy is not the Secretary of State… He has no authority over national security or foreign policy.”

The Supreme Court may now be drawn into the escalating legal and political battle.
