Liberal Activist Tried Ramming ICE Arresting

Tow Truck Driver Faces Federal Charge for Towing ICE Vehicle

A Los Angeles tow truck driver, Bobby Nunez, is facing a federal charge after allegedly towing an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) vehicle during an August 15 arrest.

According to the complaint, agents were trying to detain an undocumented immigrant when Nunez, laughing and recording, towed away the ICE car.

“Apparently he thought it would be funny to interfere with our immigration enforcement operations.

Now he can laugh behind bars while he faces justice,” said Acting U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli.

Authorities say Nunez also hit an officer with a car door during the chaos.

A video posted by Rep. Essayli showed an officer chasing the tow truck on foot.

Nunez was later identified through TikTok videos. If convicted, he could face up to 10 years in prison.

The case unfolds amid tensions over ICE operations and a recent court ruling against National Guard deployment in Los Angeles.
