Millions of Americans didn’t even leave their apartments on Saturday during the crippling blizzard. This woman, however, couldn’t have cared less. Perhaps oblivious to the blistering cold, or spurred on by a bet, the unidentified brunette was captured on film running through Morgantown, West Virginia, in nothing but a white T-shirt. The clip was posted online on by West Virginia-based Twitter user Chandlar Fowler, who suggested one reason for the woman’s sparse attire. With winter upon us, winter snow days are inevitable in most northern areas.  It seems so many schools are putting out funny videos or songs to announce to their students when this happens. 

Well, Swartz Creek Community Schools, a school district in Michigan, decided to add their own flair to this trend.  Their video has over a million views on YouTube already.

Dressed in their school team apparel, Superintendent Ben Mainka and Principal Jim Kitchen stand in front of a camera to make an announcement to their students and families. Superintendent Mainka starts with a serious note:

“I wanted to just do a quick video announcement. I know that one of the things that’s been happening – which is an epidemic across our country – is that superintendents and other administrators are coming up with ridiculous songs, and they’re playing music and putting sunglasses on and making absolute fools of themselves trying to cancel school for a snow day, and it seems like we have….”

 

A boy was resuscitated after a car crash and said he met Jesus while in a coma — sharing a stunning message in the process.Julie and Andy Kemp were with their son, Landon, on the way home from church when their car was struck by an ambulance.

Andy was immediately killed, and his son was airlifted to a North Carolina hospital in critical condition.

“I looked but never saw what he was yelling at. I didn’t spot the ambulance approaching us, but all I can recall is that he was yelling.

That was the last thing that I heard from him,” Julie said, All That’s News reported.

“I did not make it to heaven but I walked with 4 angels towards a hand reaching down in a beam of pure light. It was so peaceful. It really is true the peace of the tribe surpasses all understanding,” another wrote.

Due to a slip-up on the FDA’s front, 600,000 bottles of the commonly used medication are being pulled from shelves. Due to ingredients used by an unregulated manufacturer, the medication is being recalled due to a fear of possible contamination. It’s Ramipril capsules in strengths of 2.5 mg, 5 mg, and 10 mg.

This particular medication is prescribed for hypertension. It is used to open the blood vessels and reduce heart pressure. It is usually administered after a heart attack.

One of the ingredients was being used by a factory in India with improper checks done for their suppliers. The FDA thinks the risk is low, but, better safe than sorry. Currently, there have been no adverse effects. However, if you have one of the listed bottles, best to throw it out.

So, you should check your blood pressure medication for a recalled one. They are made by the Indian company Lupin Pharmaceuticals and sold in strengths of 2.5 milligrams (mg), 5mg, and 10mg. The bottles will have a sell-by date up to July 2026 and sold in bottles of 90, 10, and 150.
