  • Fans Outraged After ‘Wheel Of Fortune’ Refuses To Give Prize To Woman Who Answered Correctly

Please take note that this story was first published in January 2024 and is being republished.

Enraged fans of “Wheel of Fortune” are protesting, believing that Megan, a contestant, was wrongfully denied $40,000 for a potentially correct response.

Megan, a married choir director at a high school in California, had to solve a bonus problem consisting of two words that fell under the “Living Thing” category.

The incomplete phrase “_ N’R _ _ _” was revealed when Megan was led to the puzzle board by host Pat Sajak while the wheel was spinning.

By carefully choosing which letters to use, Megan changed the board to read “P_N_’ RC _ D.”

In the final ten seconds, Megan blurted out her guess, something like “Pink Orchid” or perhaps similar to “Something Orchid.” Megan vocally expressed her annoyance at the correct response, “Pink Orchid,” as soon as the timer chimed and the correct letters illuminated the display.

Sajak, sensing she might be right, pulled out the prize estimate card and showed Megan a healthy $40,000, far more than the $14,007 she ended up received.

One viewer complained, “The woman got screwed on the #WheelOfFortune bonus puzzle tonight; she totally said ‘PINK ORCHID’ right at the start.”

“I inquired of the judges right away after she stated that! I lip read and use subtitles because I am deaf in one ear and partially hearing in the other. She called me “Pink Orchid.” Without a doubt!,” countered another admirer.

“I’m exploding! She understood; pink orchid, she said! “WTF?” yelled a third individual.

Good day, @WheelofFortune I rewound the final puzzle after hearing the competitor remark “pink orchid” at the beginning. One irate viewer shouted, “You owe her some $$$.”

All right, @WheelofFortune You may plainly hear her say “pink orchid” if you replay tonight’s broadcast to solve the final puzzle from the most recent airing. The winner was not given due credit by you. Play it back now. She really did say that! Vibrant Orchid.

Fans of Wheel of Fortune have been criticizing the show more and more in the midst of the scandal for what appears to be missteps, such as a recent argument over a rhyme during an Express round. On January 22, the audience exploded as the program appeared to stumble over a response in the “Rhyme Time” category.

Two of the candidates were stumped by the ongoing farce, but Jill, the third contender, solved the issue by guessing two “y’s,” creating the rhyme “Absolutely Positively.”

Supporters fiercely disagreed with the ruling, claiming that “Absolutely Positively” is not a rhyme.

One of the viewers wrote, “Hey @WheelofFortune.” “Could you please clarify how these two words rhyme? Because they most definitely do not.”

Surprising Laundry Hack: Using Plastic Bottles in the Washing Machine to Enhance Your Laundry Results

The article presents a laundry hack involving the use of plastic bottles in the washing machine, offering several surprising benefits:

    1. Best for Regular and Heavier Loads: Plastic bottles are especially effective with items like towels, bed linens, and denim, which often tangle during washing. The bottles help prevent this by keeping items separate.
    2. Avoid for Delicates: Delicate fabrics like lace, silk, or thin knits may get caught on the bottles, so they should be avoided for these items.
    3. Benefits Beyond Wrinkle Reduction:
      • Reduced Lint Formation: Bottles reduce fabric friction, minimizing lint and helping clothes look newer longer.
      • Less Tangling: Bottles keep clothes from knotting, especially long items like sheets or pants.
      • Faster Drying: Clothes come out less wrinkled and untangled, allowing for quicker and more efficient drying.
      • Increased Fabric Longevity: Reducing wrinkling, tangling, and lint formation can help extend the lifespan of clothes.
    4. Sustainable and Cost-Free: This eco-friendly method eliminates the need for commercial fabric softeners or wrinkle sprays, saving money and reducing plastic waste.
    5. Safety Considerations: Ensure the plastic bottles are undamaged and have securely fastened caps to prevent damage to fabrics. Also, ensure that the bottles don’t disrupt the washing machine’s balance, especially in front-loaders.

Overall, using plastic bottles in the washing machine is a simple, cost-effective way to improve laundry results by reducing wrinkles, tangling, and lint while also promoting fabric longevity.

Brad Soden, a combat veteran and plumber, was deeply moved by his wife Liz’s tears after a car accident left her paralyzed, limiting her ability to join their five children on family hikes and camping trips. Determined to help her regain independence, Brad spent years designing a special wheelchair that could navigate mountainous terrain. His creation, the “Tankchair,” uses tank-like treads, enabling Liz to go camping, hiking, and even chase her kids outdoors. The wheelchair, which costs between $12,000 and $15,000, has a three-month waiting list and is particularly appreciated by injured soldiers. Brad plans to offer these chairs for free to veterans, despite them not being covered by insurance due to their classification as recreational vehicles.

Violinist’s childhood bully asks her to play at her wedding for free—she gives her a reality

Having a unique talent can be a great asset that will serve you well for years to come. However, there may be instances where this talent leads to being picked on during childhood.

Tiffany Mulder is a well-known violinist who has been skilled at playing the violin since her middle school days.

In middle school, there was one person who constantly bullied her. However, that bully ended up coming back to Tiffany to ask for help planning her wedding for free, and learned a valuable lesson in the process.

Hello there! Long time no see,” the former bully started. “I’m getting married, and I would love for you to play the violin at my ceremony in October. It would be a great gift, and you could also use the photos and videos to showcase your talent! Win-win!

The girl believed Tiffany would be interested in expanding her portfolio, but Tiffany was already successful and didn’t require any assistance. She has received recognition from various online platforms, such as The Knot.

Tiffany responded, “Hi there! It’s quite presumptuous of you to expect a $2,500 service as a gift. You used to bully me a lot back in middle school for being in the orchestra. And as for building my portfolio, you might not know that I’ve been acknowledged by The Knot and Wedding Wire for 6 consecutive years,” said the violinist from Chicago.

I started building my portfolio when I was just 12 years old. I have been working in the wedding industry for 19 years.
