Olive Garden is arguably one of the greatest Italian family restaurants.
I’m hungry just thinking about their cheese ravioli and braised beef Bolognese. And of course, their unlimited salad and breadsticks, the generous combo they’re known for. Holy yum.

Besides the obvious delicious food, what else do you really know about Olive Garden? Anything? We’re about to tell you.

Here are some fun facts you might not know about this popular Italian chain:

Sales started off strong and never stopped.

The first Olive Garden debuted in 1982 in Orlando, Florida and was immediately successful.

By 1989, the restaurant had grown to 145 locations. The unique part about it was that they actually intended to become a chain, unlike most chain restaurants. They fulfilled their wish: They’re now the largest Italian-themed full-service chain restaurant in America (only second to Carrabba’s Italian Grill).

Customers love these popular menu items.

The classic Chicken Alfredo is one of the most popular dishes at Olive Garden, according to an employee who spoke with PopSugar. Shrimp scampi is a close second—and is actually one of the healthier menu options, coming in at just 500 calories.

Garden managers and team members get to visit to learn as much as they can about Italian cuisine and culture. They also get to meet and learn from the Olive Garden’s overseas partners. Additionally, the rustic stone walls of the restaurant’s interiors and exteriors are modeled after a farmhouse in Chianti!

You can buy their salad dressing.

If you love their signature dressings, good news: They’re offered at places like Sam’s Club, Walmart, certain grocery stores, and on Amazon. You can also just ask your waiter next time you’re eating at Olive Garden, and they’ll sell you a bottle.

After kissing each other goodnight at the front door, the guy starts feeling a little horny. With an air of confidence, he leans with his hand against the wall and, smiling, he says to her, “Babe, do you want to, you know, get it on?”

Horrified, she replies, “Are you crazy? My parents will hear us!”He replies, “Oh come on! Who’s gonna hear us at this hour?”She says, ”But can you imagine if we get caught?!”Oh come on!” he pleads. They won’t know, they’re all sleeping!
”No way. It’s just too risky! she says. He begs, “Oh please, please, I love you so much!’”

Elliot Costello’s encounter with a young girl named Thea in Cambodia sparked a movement to combat child sexual abuse. Thea, a survivor of abuse, painted one of Elliot’s fingernails during their conversation. He pledged to keep it painted to remember her suffering, inspiring the #PolishedMan movement.

#PolishedMan encourages men to paint one nail to symbolize the one in five children affected by sexual violence. It aims to challenge violent behavior and language worldwide. Elliot points out that men are responsible for 96% of such abuse against children and must drive change.

“As she painted one of my nails, I assured her I would always keep it that way to remember her, and by extension, her suffering,” Elliot said.

Pete Hegseth just received fantastic news!

In a pivotal moment for Pete Hegseth’s bid to become Secretary of Defense, Senator Bill Hagerty announced his support for the embattled nominee during a conversation with CNN. The endorsement provides a significant boost as Hegseth faces mounting skepticism from within his own party over his qualifications and readiness to lead the Pentagon.

“Well, I’d say this: I was just with Pete meeting with a large group of House members, and he had an ovation that was resounding,” Hagerty said. “I think that Pete is, as people get to know him again, as people get to see his deliberation, his deliberate stance on trying to repair the Pentagon, try to fix our recruiting crisis, our retention crisis, I think people are overwhelmingly supportive of him.”

Hagerty expressed a lot of optimism about the trajectory of Hegseth’s confirmation process, which has seen some Republicans voice concerns about his lack of high-level defense experience. “And I think that’s going to continue to move in the right direction,” Hagerty added. “I’ll admit him, is with Pete right now.”

The stakes are high as Hegseth seeks to lead the Department of Defense under President-elect Donald Trump’s administration. His nomination has become a flashpoint, with critics questioning whether his outspoken media persona and political commentary translate into effective leadership in a military apparatus burdened by a recruiting shortfall, retention struggles, and a need for modernization.

Hegseth, a former Army officer and longtime Fox News contributor, has built his candidacy on promises to overhaul the Pentagon, tackle bureaucratic inefficiencies, and address the military’s ongoing recruitment crisis. Despite his populist appeal and strong alignment with Trump’s vision, some GOP senators remain unconvinced.

Hagerty’s endorsement comes as a much-needed lifeline for Hegseth, whose confirmation prospects have been in jeopardy. The Tennessee senator’s comments signal a turning point, highlighting growing Republican support for the nominee within Congress. The coming days will be crucial as Hegseth continues to make his case to lawmakers.

Hegseth described meeting with Senators and the Senate Armed Services Committee as a “wonderful process.” He continued, “That’s what Donald Trump asked me to do. Your job is to bring a war-fighting ethos back to the Pentagon. Your job is to make sure that it’s lethality, lethality, lethality!”

“Everything else is gone. Everything else that distracts from that shouldn’t be happening. That’s the message I’m hearing from Senators in that advise and consent process. It’s been a wonderful process.”

In November, President-elect Trump announced his intention to nominate Hegseth as the U.S. Secretary of Defense. Amid the controversies, Trump is reportedly considering alternative candidates for the Defense Secretary position, including Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. While Hegseth was vocal about Trump urging him to fight for a position, the president-elect has reportedly engaged in significant discussions about nominating Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, his former primary challenger, as the defense secretary.

According to The New York Times, sources close to Trump say that

And she said,“Why? Are you sick?”

“No,” he said. “I’m going to get me some of those new Via4ra pills.”

So his wife got up out of her rocker and was putting on her sweater and he said, “Where are you going?”

She said, “I’m going to the doctor too.”

    He said, “Why?”

She said, “If you’re going to start using that rusty old thing again, I’m going to get a tetanus shot.”

-The pregnant sow had been acting strange all morning. She was restless, panting heavily, and refused to eat. When she went into labor, the farmer and his family were worried. The animal was burning up with fever, her body trembling with exhaustion. They feared the worst.Expecting a small litter of 4 or 5 piglets, they braced themselves for bad news. But as the labor progressed, the unthinkable happened. Instead of the usual squeals of newborn piglets, there was a hushed silence, followed by gasps of astonishment. One by one, the piglets came out—10 in total! Each one was remarkably healthy, their tiny bodies glistening, and they were unusually large for a first-time mother. The biggest surprise, though, was the last to emerge. It was unlike anything they’d ever seen—a piglet with unique golden patches on its fur, gleaming as if touched by the sun.“If I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes,

I wouldn’t have believed it,” the farmer whispered, holding the extraordinary piglet in awe. Nature’s surprises truly know no bounds!
